Weird soulmate wolf?? Esque au I came up with after watching a stupid tv show but basically here’s the idea vomit—

> Werewolf-like Humans can turn into entities

> they can also have soulmates yada yada

> Seek is soul bound to a different entity and their destined to be partners/mates.

> Unfortunately, Seek’s mate was nasty, nasty, terrible, bad. So when the time came for its partner to ask “will you be my mate?” Seek responds with what’s basically a. “Fuck you, I reject your mateship.”

> That’s unfortunate for it, because rage is the last thing it ever felt because as soon as their connection was severed both of them can’t feel any love or pleasure..or just good things in general for the rest of their life. (Romantic OR platonic.)

> Seek proceeds to be like this for years btw

> ALSO VERY IMPORTANT NOTE, AROMANTIC/ARO SPEC PEOPLE DONT REALLY GET SOULMATE THING BECAUSE ..DUH..SO THEY CAN SKIP THE WHOLE MAGICAL CONNECTION THING TOGETHER + KEEP THEIR CAPACITY TO LOVE.

> OR OR PLATONIC SOULMATES. DEPENDS ON THE PERSON.

> But Seek’s actually doing pretty well!! Even if it can’t feel much nowadays its.. really good at math and has helped its pack? Group? That lives in the hotel. Even if it can’t feel positivity it still feels a need to make itself feel useful.

> Then one day, A blind entity comes along, found injured and shivering along the border of their territory.

> It joins their little group

> One morning, the two are out hunting for deer.

> They don’t have much banter, just quiet hunting and talking about their life.

> Seek doesn’t have all its emotions yet but AAAAAHHH THATS NEW-

> Seek tries doing taxes and being normal.

> Figure is like its blorbo. Like it’s favorite little meow meow.

> And it keeps occupying every little corner of its mind.

>..It quietly asks Ambush to bring it Figure.

>Ambush, who knows about the whole thing and is prepared to give the JUICIEST gossip ever to Rush just kind nods quickly and fetches the gay lil flesh monster.

> Figure went through a bit of an arc but basically it was worried that it was gonna get rejected.

> But Seek just sits at its desk and offers it tea.

I’ll come up with better ideas and more drama later (maybe)

I just like funky werewolf-esque entities thanks to an idea someone gave me long ago + A silly very poorly made show I just watched with a similar soulmate idea thingie.
